To beat the main story campaign, you'll need to set aside "approximately 20-25 hours." However, for the completionists out there, you'll be playing for a little while longer. "Since the world of Atomic Heart is quite huge and filled with various activities, the full completion will take much longer," Bagratuni said. "Indeed, it is difficult to give the exact number. However, I can assume that the completion of the game may take the player about 35-40 hours."
I remember that video info, good stuff.. https://youtu.be/GFyjojXpehA
So a dev time of 25h long can be good and become those 50ish hours fps I usually like more.
Prey and Dishonored 2 (which arent direct comparisons as much as bioshock is) are a little bit more lenghty, with completionist times of around 45h, so I dont think it will be that long.
Shadow warrior 2, with how long to beat times of 7 to 24h also felt kinda long to me, so I expect Atomic Heart, with its dev reported "at least 25h" to be long enough.
Truly said that with games where combat is so fun and engaging like those examples, theres a point where I usually like to abandon main quest, and start doing secondaries and even sandboxing a little a la borderlands, hehe.
