How to get the Kalash?

I'm decently far into the early game, passed Vavilov Complex and then some. I've been looting literally everything and I never got the Kalash blueprints. Every guide online says it's in Vavilov, but I cleaned that place out and found nothing. I thought there was a chance I missed *one* chest, but that area is actually locked once you leave it so I have no way to check. Am I just never getting the assault rifle now?

its in a random chest, chest in the open world can give blueprint it will come from one of them, the location isnt fixed, I got mine in the cabin before taking the train to the open world and when I checked for the saw blade melee weapon, thats where they told me it was, just play the game and youll find it naturally,

Ah, I guess the game hasn't been explored much and the guides are just wrong. I have pretty much everything else, and I'm passed the train lol.

Im still in Vavilov and got it on the way to the Pesticide workshop

I literally have almost every late game weapon, but still don't have this one. It's meant to be the second gun you get..bugged or is the random loot just broken?

thank you for this - i found the kalash in the very first facility/starting location (albeit half way through). Was wondering why people were having trouble finding it lol

I'm just shocked it's so hard to get. Or my RNG is just trash. I didn't expect to get guns that outclass it before I even get it. Makes some later encounters where you need range pretty hard

I got it close to the end of the game. It was unironically the last weapon I got. Guess it's actually just 100% random.
