WARNING TO MUNDFISH: Please STOP censoring your game!

Mundfish has made very bold, very controversial decisions when designing Atomic Heart, but it's also the number 1 thing that has made this game a truly special experience. This is something gamers have been waiting for for a long time, something which the mainstream game studios couldn't deliver on:

A game that doesn't give a ♥♥♥♥ about your feelings towards politics, but rather wants to create an authentic, thought-provoking and fun world to explore and interact with.

Unfortunately, however, an update to Atomic Heart came out a few hours ago which censored a clip from "Nu Pogodi", a Soviet cartoon that plays in the save rooms that are all over the game. In the clip, there was a caricature of a black guy shooting an arrow, and for some reason, liberal Twitter losers lost their minds over it. Instead of ignoring the outrage from a very small (even though vocal) minority, Mundfish bent their knee to those idiots and capitulated, essentially telling them "You've won" and took the clip out. I'm not sure if anything else got censored, but I seriously hope not.

As the Global American Empire keeps trying to inject its toxic liberal ideology into every corner of our lives and also tries to export it abroad, it taints the entertainment industry with it. That is why recent games by corporate giants like EA, Blizzard, etc. feel so soulless, they simply follow the rules of their American leaders, making their games as non-thought-provoking, non-offensive and bland as possible, so that not a single organism on earth throws a tantrum about how a tiny detail is "unacceptable in modern times". The reason why so many people get offended by so many things nowadays is because the Americans have trained them to do so, and it's those brainwashed individuals who want to cancel anything and everyone that doesn't align with their twisted worldviews.

It is for this reason why Atomic Heart is such a breath of fresh air, since it doesn't follow any of the ridiculous rules the equally ridiculous Americans are trying to force upon the whole world... well, they *didn't* follow the rules, up until now.

By censoring a single 2-second clip from the game, as tiny of a detail as it actually is, Mundfish has done significant, perhaps even irreparable damage to their studio. Every decision they make regarding future content will now be decided with an additional question in their head: "Will this offend liberal extremists from Anglo-Saxon countries?"

Even worse, since those exact people now know that they can influence you, they will search for more and more things that can offend them, until they make you strip your work of art of all character, passion and authenticity it once had, with the goal of liberalizing your products and game studio like all those other mainstream game studios which completely fell off because of this exact issue.

"You give them an inch, they take a mile."

Mundfish, I sincerely hope you put the uncensored version back in the game and uncensor any other content that I may not be aware of. If you don't, this could paint a negative trajectory for your company and you will subsequently end up as bland and uninspiring as all those other game studios that have fallen victim to liberal ideology. Mundfish, do NOT let the Anglo-Saxons destroy your vision and stop any additional censorship!

You have to take back the inch you gave them as quickly as possible, because otherwise, they will come for the mile before you even know it.


EDIT: I've gotten my hands on the uncensored file (big thanks to Hexenhammer!), and you can now easily uncensor the game yourself.

1.) Download the original file here:

3.) Replace "Nu_Pogodi_29.mp4" with the original file you just downloaded.

If the video they removed is as you discribe, of a 1920s stereotypical depiction of a black person from Africa. Then I am happy it's been removed.

Are you from an ethnic minority? Because defending an opinion like yours kinda says more about you than it does about the devs removing the content.

I'd refund the game if I could.
I wish I hadn't preordered my copy on cdkeys when this game was being called an RTX tech demo and not this weird kinky game for people with a droid fetish.

I am perfectly calm and relaxed. Well maybe a bit distressed over Mundfish bending to Twitter Freaks, but still, relatively calm.

In all honesty I think if Bioshock Infinite were made today, you wouldn't get the starting scene where you do see racism being acted out, neither have any choice on how to react with to it.

Maybe you would have it, but it would have Booker throw the ball at the host, hitting him and knocking him out cold, before proceeding to gun everyone down and then free the interracial couple, saying "I shall take you to Wakanda", and then the game proceeds to be a journey to Africa.

Does it actually matter if he is or isn't? And are you aware that "Ethnic minority" could actually very mean someone who moved countries and is living somewhere else (I.E A Swede would be a minority in Germany)

They tried doing the same in Africa, bringing the alphabet people there. While their people are starving, having major poverty, this is what they think is important.

That's another possibility that, I will be honest, haven't quite considered. And it's very possibly the case as well.

Hopefully it is just that and the developers aren't such weaklings to buckle at weirdos on the Internet. I've seen a group picture of them, they really look like normal regular people, and not like a bunch of Reddit rejects.

Yes,is extremly likely this was done due to publisher pressure than the Mundfish developers giving the twitter crowd what they want.

Sorry but I find your suggestion that a Swedish person experiences the same type of discrimination as black people ridiculous and not worthy of a response.

Not *just because I think you're an idiot or anything just that if you do really believe *that* then there is nothing I can say to change your opinion.

And as I told the other forward thinking individual that trying to defend a belief like that says more about you and if you're not coming from a place of experience and understanding you should probably keep those kind of opinions to yourself.

The bad thing is that the developers removed a small part of the cartoon from the game. It is a pity that the developers did not have the courage to refuse the protesters.
But the game has not become worse, calm down and play on. Enjoy the game.
