Nexus mods effect achievements?

so wanted to mod some of the game play but does it effect achievements?

Even hooking the engine can reset your achievements, be aware. I just never cared about achievements but I noted it.

I noticed when i was adding mods the collectible achievements number would reset thought it was a display bug so any achievement that is progress based will reset every time a mod is added?

Pretty much from my experience, yes, I was modifying something in game, with code, just not files. It reset them, everytime.

i added a mod to the game to skip the intro section and I noticed the achievements were out of synch. for the final achievement of earning all of the achievements. It said I had 1 achievement earned when 3 were unlocked. how do you reset achievements or am I pretty much screwed over?

all versions of the game have broken achievments, has nothing to do with mods

ok it's good to know it's not just me. is the SAM picker safe to use? i want to reset my achievements if that's the case and i was just looking online for a way to do that.

no idea, never used sam, but you are better off waiting first to fix it then you see about using sam
