Bug : 4% gamepad stick drift, affecting game

I just started playing today via pc xbox gamepass. I have an official microsoft xbox series s game pad, its approx 6 month old, it has 4% stick drift on both left and right analogue sticks.

I measured for drift using an app called game controller tester on the microsoft store. There is one problem that I have : In game when reading messages, the messages scroll up and down on their own, very slowly.

I only have issues on the message screen, message scrolling on its own. Which seems to be happening because the deadzone for the right analogue stick being set too low/off in game. (Not adjustable).

I don't have issues with the camera look in gameplay when using the right analogue stick but I have read that others do.

I don't have any issues with the left analogue stick, even though the drift is equal on both sticks (4%).

I also found that the stick drift is faster the higher the framerate, which is really weird.

In game, I tried setting the controller deadzone from 0.15 (default) to 1.0 (max setting), unfortunately this does not affect the right analogue stick drift. It still drifts the exact same.

If any devs see this, please look into this. Thanks!

Same thing is happening to me on Ps5, 10 hours in and it randomly started. But mine is for the left analog stick.
