You can't stop them. There's a main hub thing that you can destroy that will shutdown robots for a while but even that's not permanent. The issue you're having is one of the reasons why I refunded the game.

It SHOULD be permanent

I know they’re annoying but they have to be there since the security cameras you can destroy have to be repaired since some of them are needed to progress in the game.

If you mean those things that repair robots comes from I fry them with electricity but you need to destroy all at the same time and then there is no chance of spawning and also fixing those stupid cameras.

I think the reason they made them respawn so quickly is for people that want to grind materials. Once you unlock the chain shok, you can instantly kill the entire group of them right as they spawn and get a lot of resources quickly.

It does get a bit annoying though to not have at least a little bit to chill. you can't even loot the enemies you killed before they're already back to rez the larger enemies.

The overworld respawn rate is truly insane. For a game that has off-the-beaten-path places to explore, it sure actively discourages exploration at every step. The world is so fascinating, but the game never lets you just stop and breath it in. Kind of a shame.

the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ respawn rate is insane. if you are fighting a group of enemies and move to another group the repair bot repair all the other group in less than a minute. At least i just have the game in the gamepass and didnt buy it.

I kill wave after wave mostly with area telekinesys and the upgrade that spalshes them to the ground.

After 3-4 waves they seem to stop coming for some minutes, so I suspect theres a cooldown.

They need to make it longer so you can temporary clean an area for say 15 mins

Unlimited respawns due to repair bots is insane. Literally have 6-8 of the buggers come out of one of those domes, kill them all, just for the same amount to come out seconds later.

In a game where ammunition due to materials and bag-space is a premium.

The game actively penalises you for engaging enemies but does not have a good enough stealth system to fall back on.

My general strategy to date is just to run past everything to objectives, ignoring as many of the bots as I go. Its basically a save-point jumper... where you run from save point to save point and try to not engage with anything.

Meh. Once you upgrade elec / telekinesis or even just hp they're just mosquitoes you one shot multiple at a time, you just ignore them and do what you need to do.
The only one which hurt you is the brown one with the laser anyway, the blue ignore you if you don't attack them.

After the VDNH you're enough upgraded to just take on anything even on hardcore if you loot everything on your path

Then pull down or shot bots repairing them. And/or don't trigger alarms.

Like ... seriously.

It SHOULD be permanent

The game is already trivial at the highest difficulty. If it was permanent that would be a boring graveyard.

Besides, you can overload those big things and the robots stay disabled for a pretty long time in their respective areas.

Repairing bots are infinite with high respawn rate.

Also, I don't get your point about triggering alarms. Repair drones respawn regardless.

But they're slow... upgrade elec you will one shot 3 with just one key press... same for the telekinesis, and who cares if they repair it, you can still desotry the robots again, you'll get more composants to upgrade your powers faster... you can abuse the respawn and upgrade powers really fast if you do need it.

Also, NEVER trigger alarms if you don't want to be submerge that's what he means, that's really easy, you fight where they can't see you or you run until alert goes down. Then you can destroy bots, loot, destroy them again if needed / run away.
Stay out off the cameras and no problems (they need some time to see you so you can run past them if needed)

Really the only moment where it's hard is the village before taking the train (and again I fully cleaned it on hardcore with mainly crouch stealth kills), I started using guns and ammos after the hedgehog boss fight (just had a little pistol to do the brown repair bots which attack you from above)

If you still have problems after that I can't really say anything except skill issue I guess :vega:

If they really really annoy when looting you hack the hawk to deactivate all robots in the area. (I mainly did this to bully 1 vs 1 robots like Rotorobot lol)
(think about opening all doors with cameras in the area before because if you don't you'll need to wait the power to come back to use cams and open doors)
