Does Mundfish support the war against Ukraine?
Other companies condemn the russian invasion.
Mundfish is silent.

FoxusSexus (an employee at Mundfish who posts a lot of Atomic Heart related content on his youtube channel) talked about the conflict in a community post. TL;DR no they don't support the invasion. https://www.youtube.com/post/UgkxV40Z7r5bAMLL6G4su5L8Cr9eX7_JIv-P

I get where you're coming from, but I hope you have seen what happens to Russians who speak out against the current situation. They probably gotto keep their head down.

I speculate that the current situation might greatly affect the game, if Russia is cut of from the Swift banking system, this game can't be bought since Valve won't be able to send money to the Devs.

And why the hell do you want game devs to take in political positions?
It's a game. Stop acting like a SJW searching for reasons to cancel people.

Talk Politics in a Political Forum. NOT Steam.
Stop contributing in dividing people.

Mundfish shows no remorse, their Russian page is toxic AF.

If Valve had any decency they'd show Ukrainians remorse by taxing Russian game sales to fund Ukrainian relief but Valve doesn't actually care about people - only money.

Everyone needs to remember that when the world acted Valve did nothing. Athletes and other parts of this industry acted - Valve did nothing.

To be fair, Valve isn't really involved in any of this. And neither are most developers.
Apart from Mundfish. The seem ok with war.

Yeah that's pretty much it. Look was has happened to people demonstrating in Russia in the past days, plenty of videos of it.

Can you please provide an unambiguous reference or statement from the developers which supports your statement?

Imagine knowing that the devs are from a place where saying "the wrong thing" can get not just you jailed, or killed, but also your family, and then expecting then to openly say "the wrong thing"

You may say that "silence is violence" and in free countries like ours, that can at least be debated, but in places like Russia, China, North Korea, and other less-free countries, silence is survival. How dare you accuse them of being heartless warmonger supporters when speaking out can cost them and their families lives?

Would you willingly subject not just yourself, but your parents, grandparents, siblings, children, and maybe even your friends to life in prison or execution just to say you're against something? Not even to stop the war entirely, just to say you're against it?

I'm against the war.

Wow, look at that, another person who has voiced their disagreement with the crimes against humanity Putin has committed, and it did nothing... But it cost me nothing too. You want them to throw away their lives to get the same result I just did, you want them to die for nothing?

I want to see how you defend your perspective, or admit that you were mistaken, but to go silent is to let what you clearly believe to be bad people get away with being bad, and staying silent is the wrongdoing you're accusing them of committing, is it not?

Ok, you clowns.
Russians with spine go out and protest. They let their opinions known.
Mundfish shuts up because they want your precious yummy money to fuel the russian war machine.

Just saying: they don't deserve your money.

Wow, nice defense, you really showed us! "Open protest's not a dangerous task that should only be undertaken by those whom believe that the risk to themselves is worth showing discontent, that ♥♥♥♥'s ♥♥♥♥♥♥' spine!" Your take is bad and you should feel bad. Next point.

Don't try to deflect criticism with "just saying" dude. "Just saying" is for things like "orange really isn't your color," or "it'd be faster to rake the leaves then use the leaf blower," or "not stretching before a run is how you get cramps" not "the devs want your money to pay for the war, because they like death and war and want war!" If you're going to make such an accusation, don't be a ♥♥♥♥♥ about it.

I can't believe that you're not a troll, but your account is so old and has so many games that you must actually believe the crap you're spewing. I'm honestly kinda amazed. What's it like to be so socially inept that you can't see anything beyond what is blatantly shown?

What does an indie development studio have to gain from a war? they aren't making military armaments, they aren't Putin or one if his inner circle, what do they have to gain? What could they possibly attain that is so valuable to a Small Independent Video Game Development Studio that it's worth sending themselves or their kids to what will likely be their deaths? Please enlighten us, oh great and wise MLP fan.

I didn't deselect "Subscribe to discussion" and I couldn't resist reading what was said, so I guess I lied and here I am again, forgive me for that. I know I deselected it, so this time, it's really for the last time, it's real this time. No take backs.

1) The point I am getting at, the main one, is it's harsh to expect someone to speak out, you're probably right, not necessarily with their lives on the line, but certainly with their company at risk. What other companies are you speaking of? I would assume that you're talking about other Russian companies, because it'd be apples to oranges if you were talking about american companies. How big are these companies? are they big bois that make Putin bank, or are they tiny ones that don't have any reason not to be deleted? (Let's not forget that just last month a kid in Russia was sentenced to 5 years in prison because he built a Russian government building in minecraft and then was going to blow that building up, so putting imprisonment past Putin is giving the slimeball to much credit.)

2) Honestly I'd feel less embarrassed if you did. I feel bad for resorting to name calling, and it was wrong to bash you for having an opinion, even one I vehemently disagreed with.

3) You're half right. You're right that I forgot that there's a middle space they could occupy between 'for the war' and 'against the war' and thought that since you didn't think they were of the latter that you must've thought that they were of the former. Again, that one's on me. However, this again goes back to my main point, that point being that it's wrong to ask for a statement when saying 'the wrong thing' publicly can bring such severe repercussions.

Anyways, sorry for going bald with mald, that was a big me problem and not your fault, but I still disagree with you wanting a statement from them and them being warmongers. Anyways say whatever you want in response, I don't care, I'm actually gone this time.

come on mate. quoting a big post and commenting it with a one liner that doesn't have anything to do with the quote is lazy.

I love all the moral crusaders autism-sperging in the forums.

There is a ongoing war. Get over it, you whiny beta simps.
Putin did everything he could diplomatically to avoid this war. Most of the Americans I know are backing Russia 100 percent.
Chrypt22 3/mar./2022 às 10:10
Given the shape of the Russian economy - this game will most likely become vaporware.
