2 seat Variant of the FA-26
I know the devs have said that they only wish to add new planes that they feel will drastically add to the gameplay (For that as many have said I think some large, fast CAS/Bomber like the su-34 would be awesome), but I really want to highlight my favourite part of this game; Co-op. Flying with an EWO in the EF24G is honestly the most fun I've had, and it's not even particularly close. It's just so much more rewarding and enjoyable than flying solo. However, the current two seater fighters (T-55 and EF-24) are very specialized; the EF-24 is only really good as a support / SEAD aircraft, and the T-55 is just pretty terrible at anything other than a dogfight or actual training. Both are heavily limited in their loadouts, have fairly small range, and not the best flight performance. I think that a two-seat version of the EF-24 (Perhaps a more strike oriented one too, like the F15E) would be a fantastic addition to allow us to scratch that co-op itch but also do more varied missions than just SEAD or jamming. An entirely new twin-seat plane wouldn't really be necessary for this, which is why I think it being not all that different gameplay wise would be fine, and if it were to be included in the game as a non dlc, it would allow people to try out Co-op before deciding to buy the other twin seat planes.

Obviously this wouldn't be the top priority (I still think a strat bomber like previously mentioned should be what comes next), but it would be cool to see in the future!

If it's just a 2-seater FA-26 then no.
The only thing that a 2-seater jet without other new features would add is the ability to train someone. I'd rather have a separate trainer that's easy to use.
A proper 2-seater with new features should have distinct roles for each seat.

Damn. unfortunate. I was thinking more of a dedicated WSO for the rear seat, to lighten the load on the pilot in intense missions, but sad to see that won't happen

a 2 seater fa-26 would be nice though, even if it's probably never going to happen. Being able to share the same experience from the same cockpit with people has been some of the best experiences I've had in VR. Even if there's not much work to share between 2 people in a jet like the 26 I'd still have a blast sharing that experience with others. I respect Baha's decision though that he want's each jet to have a unique experience to it.

Exactly yeah. You can't really replicate the split workload thing in a non vr game, and even then very few actual VR games ever make use of something like it, its incredibly fun and one of the best parts of the game, which is why its such a shame that the only two seat planes are incredibly specific and borderline useless for some missions
