Can't complete basic weapons training

Just purchased the game and I'm very impressed so far but I can't seem to complete the basic weapons training. I can get as far as being told to destroy some tanks with the GAU-8 and I've destroyed all the tanks I can find (2 groups of 3) using the right weapon but the objective does not update. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Yep, this is a bug in the current version. BD has been notified on the discord.

Nope, still got the issue here.

It's not working for me as well. I get told to take off and head to "the waypoint" and that the training will continue there. But I see no waypoint anywhere. After flying around randomly when I got to the smaller island I see some orange icons popup, but still the training doesn't continue even when flying very close to those.

Edit: Nevermind, I figured it out... Noob. ;) (You have to follow the green line on the Nav screen.)
