PS: use your "ILS" indicator in the cockpit to figure out your approach angle and height after requesting a landing.
1. Alt ~1000-1500ft speed ~300 (Use the blue guide lines on the nav map to get a good line up)
2. Landing gear down, hook down, flaps 2
3. Line up the circular reticle with the aircraft carrier and just to the left of that reticle should be a strgiht line divided into three sections (that reticle only shows up with landing gear out) slow down until the middle line is lined up with your circular reticle, once lined up give throttle if the straight reticle goes below the circular one and brake if it goes above
4. Eventually another gauge should show up on the hud when you get close enough, it should be close to the throttle gauge, it will be this gauge with a circle in the middle, then another circle that is either above or below that one in the middle. Depending on the position of the non middle circle, increase or decrease altitude steadily until both circles are lined up
5. Pray
The key point is your Angle of Attack, which should be around 8. And the AoA is closely related to your airspeed.
If your AoA < 8, slow down.
