In-headset resolution dropping during gameplay. New issue for me.
Hi. I've been having a persistent issue exclusive to this game after buying a new computer. After playing for about 30 minutes, I begin to have a visual artifact inside my headset where the bottom and top of my field of view suddenly drop in resolution, as if you were losing internet connection while watching a YouTube video. I've tested my two cables and they seem to be working fine, my drivers are fully up to date, the game files have been verified and my computer isn't overheating. I don't know what's causing this, and I never had this issue before.

Here are my PC specs:
Headset: Oculus Quest 3 connected via wired link.
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7800F 8-Core Processor
GPU: Radeon RX 7600
RAM: DDR5: 16gb
OS: Windows 11

Help or advice would be deeply appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Does the headset itself feel hot while this is happening? Do you hear any strange noises, like the whirring of a fan, when it happens?
Does this happen in any other, high-intensity games?
Does this happen in singleplayer, multiplayer, or both?
Does this happen in the mission select areas?

I've got no clue what this is. I'm thinking it could be hardware, considering I've never had this issue. Try fiddling with your headset's settings (turn resolution up, down, refresh rate, etc) and see if that fixes it.
No, the headset doesn't feel hot. My PC isn't overheating either.
No strange noises. My air filter is actually louder than my computer, I can barely hear it when playing.
No, this doesn't happen in any other VR game. I've blown a ton of stuff up in H3VR and never had any issue like this.
This happens in both single and multiplayer.
The artifacting only originates when in actual missions, but when it begins, it carries over in the mission select areas and doesn't remove itself.

I've been doing a ton of experimenting and it turns out that it was actually a couple of AMD Radeon settings that were enabled by default. "AMD Fluid Motion Frames 2.1" seems to be the biggest culprit, as when I disabled it (and capped the game's frame rate to 72fps via "Radeon Chill"), in-headset motion was noticeably smoother and the artifacting only began more than an hour into online gameplay, and even then it was only a little bit of visual artifacting at the very top of my field of view, not the bottom; barely noticeable. It fixed itself when I returned to mission select.

I'm almost there. I'm going to see if running the game on OpenXR will push me over the edge and finally fix the issue.
