Why would anyone play this over DCS?

I play DCS and I just don't see a point to this. Is this supposed to be kiddo's first flight sim? It seems like a joke to someone like me but people play this game for some reason. No idea why.

The Ka-50 in DCS has better missiles and faster missiles that can airburst and lock-on to moving aircraft and tanks, it has Iglas, it has a stronger cannon with higher velocity that can also lock onto moving targets, it's faster, has dual rotors, has a retractable gear, is more heavily armored, has proper CCIP point for rockets and guns, MWS, ejection seats, etc. The IRL Ka-52 has President-S, everything the Apache has and more. Even the Chinese bought Ka-52K's.

The Apache in DCS has FLIR. That's it. No radar yet, no CCIP, no gear, less armored, aesthetically ugly, no A2A missiles for the American version, Hellfires are manually guided, slower, arc-trajectory, worse cannon that isn't as intuitive to aim, slower speed, no autopilot, no ABRIS, no Shkval, no ejection seats. May I go on?
