Despite VTOL VR being one of the top rated VR games on steam of all time ?
Thanks for the feedback. Now I know it is worth it, I'll likely purchase it next. Any more feedback is still welcome though. I'm heading over to the reviews.
The game is essentially a combat flight sim sandbox in VR with fully working, though simplified cockpits. It is not a gimmick game with no depth.
However, it IS a flight sim sandbox, and you will get the most out of it if you are familiar with flight sims. This is not ace combat. You will not instantly pick it up and be shooting things down left and right.
If you pick it up, join the VTOL VR discord channel, find the flight school sub-channel, and check the pinned messages for flight manuals. Those'll get you up to speed.
WOW what an awesome Bundle actually!! Thanks man!

The first thing out of someone's mouth about this game is usually, "it sucks that I can't use my physical HOTAS with it," or "no HOTAS, no buy". It plays very well with the VR controllers, but again, just so you know, it will not support physical HOTAS out of the box (there are 3rd party mods, but the mods tend to break when the game is updated).
But yeah, the bundle looks sweet. I'll probably pick that up.
You can put all the charity to one or the other, or set the charity to zero just to make a point, if you want. Of course, you still have to pay for the bundle, so the devs will be getting the money instead.
To be fair, in most humble bundles, you can choose the charity you want out of a list of many thousands. Just a few of them have preset ones.
