A-10 Warhog?

they should add a A-10 to the game, it would be great for ground strikes and overall a fun aircraft.

Baha has always been clear about his decisions once made and i appreciate that.. as much as i love the A10.. people are right the AV42 does what the A10 does and more.. its a waste of a solo devs time to make something that does the same stuff over and over so hes focusing on things that bring a meaningful gameplay loop.

And thats why most of us are happy to buy each DLC that comes.

That's a great point, the game is made entirely by one guy and we already have something very similar to the A-10 if not better in the AV42. Making an A10 would take time, time away from something else that could be worked on in Vtol. Baha has stated his reasons for not wanting to make it, and the fact that it would take time away from other content/updates, why work on a 'new' jet that'd be so similar to one in game already. It's not that people are fighting against new planes or even against the A-10 specifically. If we want new jets they should be unique, not just a remake of something we practically already have. Just like how you guys can't fathom arguing against new plane ideas, I don't understand why the community wants something we essentially already have. In fact if the A-10 came out I bet people would complain that it's worse than the av42.

Why wouldn't you want to use the AV-42C for these missions? It has the exact same weapons and capabilities as the A-10. Even its cockpit layout is like the A-10 with 3 MFDs.

According to them its the same bc it has the GAU-8 and can deploy similar a2g weaponry. (I don't understand it either)

The AV-42 is a futuristic version of the A-10. The A-10 is... not very useful in most battlefields (still great in areas without SAM coverage), but the AV-42 has cargo/troop carrying capacity, VTOL capability, and is a bomb truck.

It isn't similar to the A-10 because the A-10 is so unique that you can't have a "near-future" version of it unless you copy ARMA.

It does EVERYTHING the A-10 can do. Capability-wise, it IS the A-10 in this game. Being pedantic isn’t helping you. 🤣
