EF-24 arrestor hook?

Hi, I've been enjoying the new aircraft, however one things doesn't work for me at all:
The arrestor hook for carrier landings.
I never had any troubles catching the wire with any of the other aicraft, but I have yet to be able to stop with the EF-24.
Is anybody else have this issue or should I just git gud?

EDIT: just have to git gud. Too many hours on the F-45 and T-55, I wasn't correcting enough for the length of the EF-24. Easy traps for days now!

I tried the Carrier landing tutorial. What is the target AOA and does the game allow MIL power when trapping? I try to fly the recovery used by the NAVY as best I can but I keep getting bolters.

I had no problem. this plane has a little bit of a longer profile so make sure flaps are set and you exaggerate the flair a little bit more. make sure arrestor hook is down in TPV and ensure wings are manually extended and not set to auto

hey can you telll me on wich Position you are seting the flaps and what do you mean with in TPV i am relativ new to the game and i dont really know what i am doing wrong maybe it is beacause of the bouncing setting i am Hearing for the first time know in this post and i wanted to ask where i can find the setting

the setting is off by default

8 should have the E bracket still on screen.

pull wings out of auto into full forward, set flaps to fully down (DN).

8 degr is a lot. I’d guess that would be a tailstrike in a real F14

Real Tomcat wants 15 aoa units for on speed aoa.

I have my flaps in 2. wings full forward. tpv is third person view using the camera setting
