DCS the range is amazing and it doesnt matter how high you drop them from as long as you ( or your wingmate ) have a solid laser lock on the target.
The LGB's in this game have maybe 5nm of range? thats pathetic... almost not even worth using them.
I can find/target/set GPS targets with the targetting pod and fire GPB in the same method,... so whats the point of using LGB's?
Sad.
GPS-guided weapons can only attack stationary targets, since the GPS coordinate cannot move with the target.
Fair enough, but then I would absolutely need to be restricted to using laser guided bombs...
At this point, wing pylons carry AGM-69's, and the belly carries AIM-120's.
But ok, point taken.
