I do the same. I bought a joystick adapter for my Quest 2. A base with a large ball bearing mounted on top attaches to the chair arm. The controller pops into a plastic sleeve with a magnet on the bottom. Works exactly like a flight stick and I can pop it loose to work the instruments when I need to.
You folks with the thousands of euros/dollars whatever worth of hardware and home made cockpits with hotas thingy are complaining about an awesome game made by one dude who clearly chose a path for his game that you don't understand, because you can't use your rigs. Right.
When you could use your rig on DCS for example.
Which is a game where your rigs would shine.
I own myself a Thrustmaster Warthog. Which is for sale now btw ^^
But why would i complain about not using it in this particular game?
It's not the intent dudes.
You guys have plenty of choices of games but you chose to come and complain, as if you're stuck there without any other options.
I'm not even mad, i think it's just amazing ^^
The accuracy in the commands make the game really better.
I rest my Touch controllers on my thighs.
And it was just awe-so-me ^^
When pulling Gz and doing ACM/BCM (Especially looking over the shoulder above the canopy) I find I Lose the position of my hand when cranking elevator and aleron. A joystick option would greatly improve the experience. I already use rudders...
I agree. I already use rudders. In fact, I find the only enjoyable way to fly the Apache is with rudders.
