Its an awesome game but I cannot imagine playing it as a flat 2 dimensional game... It would be so blah... Don't blame the devs for supporting VR.

" So i NEED to buy a 400-600€ VR Setup to play this game????......."
No one NEED to buy anything, exept yes if u don't own a VR-set it is totaly up to you if u want to join the future for gaming and enjoy games in vr, ofcourse. Don't cry one day maby in the near future you may be able to olso like this totaly awsome game, but not today :steamhappy:
The devs did very good work to develop this onley for vr, with particular this in mind, that it's meant to be and maby in the future they might willing to support flat-screen olso.
Be positive about the fact they even have at least the creativity to make this from the ground up, it's lot of work and time to do, trust me I know.
There are some good games like this in flat screen if u like simulation and fly and or drive.

At last, be a sport and don't blame developers for nonVR game because YOU don't have a vr-set yet and can't play their magnificant, awsome, beautifull, wonderous, never seen before game...it's so childish :steamhappy:

There are a ton of games/sims out there that should have VR Support but don't.
Do you see us crying about that?.
Why look at games that are VR only (it's even in the name for Buddha's sake) if you can't play in VR...it's obviously upsetting you.
Move along...there's nothing to see here.

Its a VR game, designed explicitly for VR. Get off your high horse, and drink your milk.

Point is, VR-enabled gamers are low percentage. To sell game to much more players, it would be good idea to make non-VR version too. Some games already did that, stopped to be VR-only

I drink your fake indignation like a milkshake. This is me, over here, and I have a straw that reaches aaaaaaaaaaall the way over to your milkshake. I drink it up. I drink it aaaaaaaaaaall UP! I DRINK YOUR MILKSHAKE!!!!

Only one guy is working on this game, so relax and stop your pretentious attitude. You don't have to buy a VR set if you don't want to, but im guessing you're complaining over the fact that you wanted to try this game but can't because you don't have a VR set. Fact of the matter is, is that theres a million games out there that simulate what this game does without the VR limits. To destroy your ego, Oculus Rift is a popular VR set that doesn't cost 600. It cost 350, so just stop making false exaggerated statements to blow steam over the fact that you don't like how a single developer made a niche product for a niche community that you wont be a part of because you can't even stop to google non-vr flight simulators like DCS

Surely without VR this game just wouldnt be the same? i mean how can you reproduce what is happening in this game on a 2d with HOTAS/M+K setup.

Making a none VR version defies the point of the game to me.

Don't get annoyed at the developers because you can't be assed to get a vr headset. Your own fault ♥♥♥♥♥

The clue is in the title of the product, move on.

Me agree fully with your comment! I think it is still too early to 'convert' nonvr into vr games because what u have said the majority of games are flatscreen still. But I am sure many nonvr games will get an 'vr' injection and vr games will get a non-injection....we are working on the features ocfourse but its like a transittion into another track. It is inevitable and too important to ignore. Praize da lord, bcause hes into vr too! :steamhappy:

why on earth would you want to play a VR game without VR?

Maybe the dev is happy with the sales to VR players, stop speaking for people, these arent AAA titles, indie and for good reason.

Well the way I see it, this game is amazing as a VR flight sim because it was built specifically for it. Built for head tracking and tracked hand controllers.
It would be mediocre as a non-VR flight sim. Like all good VR titles, it wins by immersion.
People like the OP who have obviously never experienced proper room scale VR gaming just don't understand and don't realise how stupid threads like these are.
