This game won't show up on achievement showcase or update overall achievement count for me, anyone else having this issue?

Mouse freezes in center of screen, on startup. Easily fixed however by hitting start key.

Game doesn't want to connect to steam

Is it the same if you relaunch Steam? Are you in offline mode on Steam by any chance?

Every time i launch the game it just gets stuck at 8%. I've tried waiting 10+ minutes, deleting and re-downloading, restarting my pc, verifying the game files. everything i knew how. is this a known problem?

No it just sits at 8%. I've even just now updated the game and its still doing the same thing
