SojournVR is being retired

Hello everyone,

The development of this game has been extremely slow over the last 6 months because I wasn't able to work on it full time anymore and today I have recently decided to retire the game from the steam store.

Anyone who still has a copy of the game will be able to play until June 2020, after that the game will reach end-of-life.

I would recommend anyone who currently owns SojournVR and hasn't played for 2 hours should request a full refund through steam support: https://help.steampowered.com/en/

I know this decision will disappoint some of the remaining hardcore fans but it was not possible to continue development on this game.

Hello everyone,

This week I fixed a couple of issues introduced by last week's update. I am still working on new map upgrades which should be coming out next week or the week after.

Bug Fixes

Fixed issue where floating items would flicker if they were in the world before a player spawned
Fixed an issue that would cause weird behavior when pressing the menu button during the loading screen
Music level in the server browser is now affected by music level setting
Playspace rotation on vive is much easier to use now
Fixed an issue where when a player shoots an arrow, their bow would still be nocked.
- Fixed other issues related to the bow, including fixing rotation issue when nocking arrow

Changes

Golem drops have been improved
Drops at the end of the raid have been improved
Journal smelting level requirements corrections
Level required to use tool is now shown in tooltip.

Double EXP Weekend has begun!

Hello everyone,

Starting Friday at 7:00 AM CST (12:00pm UTC) all EXP earned for the weekend will be doubled. This affects all skills including combat, mining, smelting, ect. The event will run until 7:00pm CST Sunday (12:00am UTC). This event is the first test of the event system and there will be similar events in the future. I will also be online for some of the day Friday if people want to hang out and ask me questions about the game or whatever else.

Small Isle+ empty Cave only?

Is this really all? One type off enemie wich has the same model as villagers? And is there no health indicator? If this is real, then why released already and charge 20€?

new ideas for better individual player experience

can a volume mixer be implented so you can decide what sounds you do and dont want to hear as you play. personally id prefer to listen to my own music while keeping all the sfx of mining, fight, smithing, and more
