We have rooms now dedicated to racist jokes and some rooms even have the N word in the title and while I'm all for free speech I'm worried that this may give the game and Steam a bad reputation eventually.

Honestly, if it's explicitly expressing the fact there's racial content in that room- that in itself is warning enough and should warrant their right to express such in those rooms, while you are also entitled to the right of removing yourself from the situation by not entering.

This level of racism is never done in any open mic that I've done and I've done hundreds. It's the club owners who don't want the trouble associated with having a "N-word" themed show as Comedy Night does and maybe the developers should be cautious of public perception. Let's not make Comedy Night a celebration of racist comedy.

Doesn't matter the name of the room, people will com on stage and scream the N word or say Fa***t over and over again which is in no way comedy. It would be the same thing if someone went to a poker tournament, a football game, or Sunday night bingo and just started ni***r over and over again. It's not poker. It's not football. There are multiple games being sold on this platform that are porn games with decensoring patches posted all over their forums. Steam has a bad reputation already.
