Razer Kraken headphones

We are aware that the Razer Kraken headphone mics do not work, it is caused by a bug in Unity (the engine we use)

Unity have fixed the bug, but we are waiting for them to release it to us (expected sometime in April)

In the meantime, this may or may not help:

• Uninstall the Razer Synapse software

or try some of the suggestions in this thread:

PLEASE READ THIS FOR A FIX:

Uninstall Razer Synapse, and make sure the all of the programs related to razer are REMOVED

After uninstall restart your game and it should work.

Can confirm this was the only thing that got it to work.

I fixed it by disabling another mic on my laptop. It's working now!

I have a kraken too and my headset does not work either

I uninstalled synapse and now my headset dont work.

I also uninstalled Synapse and my headset doesnt work at all, not even out of the game. In the game it doesnt even pick up the headset. Before it said it did read it but nothing was coming out. Now it just doesnt work at all, anywhere. Can I please get a refund. I dont want to buy another mic just to play this game. Thanks.

Don't normally do this sort of thing... but no way am i uninstalling Razer Synapse, the amount of utility i get from it in other games (Macro Profiles for my mouse) far out weighs my need to talk in this game. I will wait until you work out how to fix it, and in the mean time just listen.

***BEST TEMP FIX(?) (NO UNINSTALLS NEEDED)****

Okay guys, think I may have found the best fix yet, short of devs fixing it. My Kraken 7.1 v2 headset is fully functional with Synapse installed and running. Please test and share your results...

1. Navigate to the Comedy Night install directory (default: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Comedy Night)

2. Right-click the Comedy Night.exe application, choose Properties

3. Click the "Compatibility" tab, then check "Run this program as an administrator"

4. Click OK and run the game through Steam as you normally would

Note: Your mic can be tested under the player options menu (where you change your avatar)

I've tried all these options and it still just will not pick up my mic, it seems like everyone has the Kraken 7.1 v2, while i have the Kraken 7.1 Chroma I still have the same problem
