- Fixed: prevents the Steam Overlay from showing when you click on a player.
Restart steam to force the download.
Voice is breaking up most of the time
Need a hotkey for audience chat maybe?
Being able to choose/swap the seat maybe?
When you go up on stage, the camera should change into looking to the audience
Free camera maybe?
-It sometimes skips the selectionof a reaction when using a controller so it just chooses a random one
-Sometimes the rating and reaction menus overlap so you'll end up reacting and voting them off at the same time
- a microphone noise filter would be nice, to eliminate general background noise. It should also probably prevent very loud sounds from behing transmitted
- there should be basic audio sliders for master volume, effects, music and VOIP, so you can turn them to your liking (I would like some background music, but the current setup feels too loud, but I'd turn off the other effect sounds very quiet or VOIP up)
- a rebindable push to talk key would be nice, instead of having to use the mouse for everything
- maybe an option to also use push to talk while on stage
- private lobbies, either via invite only, friends only or password protected settings
- marking lobbies with a comment by the host, so you can show what you intend to do with it (as in 18+ or teaching/learning stand-up)
- host options for custom lobbies, so they can moderate them to an extend to enforce their desired rules (disabled voting, disabling emotes, disabled crowd VOIP for example and of course kicking/banning)
- normal lobbies should work as they do now when created
- first person view for the comedians for that added stage fright experience
- maybe more emotes on different keys, besides the QWEASD ones that alter your eyebrows (which is still very cool and can be used to good effect). I was thinking of maybe simple hand emotes like pointing at the crowd, pointing up or shaking one or both fists)
- looking to search for lobbies should not automatically create one if none exist, but instead prompt you if you want to
The bugfix request is regarding:
- the music toggle option doesn't work when you come out of the microphone test in the player setup. It will turn itself back on after the test
Ver 1.0.2 is now live:
NEW FEATURES:
- Added a visual indicator in the Player Setup screen to show the default Voice Pitch
- You can now hold down spacebar when in the crowd to chat
TWEAKS:
- Lowered the music volume whilst nobody is performing
- Decreased the volume when clicking on any of the Buttons whilst in the crowd or on stage.
BUG FIXES:
- Fixes floating head bug (caused by players using the joystick - thanks Cosy for pointing that out)
- Fixed a bug where if you left a room and came back in it would auto pickup your voice when you spoke (instead of only when you held down the Press to Chat button)
- Fixed a bug where if you right click on a player over the left hand side of the screen and then later on you pressed Escape to go to the menu some buttons would not be able to be selected/pressed
- Fixed a bug where you could not hold down the Press to Chat button using the Joysick
Once you have the new version it should say ver 1.0.2 in the bottom right corner of the Main Menu of the game. Please restart Steam to force the update if it doesn't auto update.
I'll continue fixing some of the other issues mention in the posts above.
- Ability to select input device for microphone
Suggestions:
#1: Sounds a little more aesthetics but what if in a later build you added in a waiter or a bartender who would bring drinks to people sitting at the tables, then the players turn there heads and murmer a silent "thankyou" to the bartender.
#2: Possible whitelist blacklist?
- Fixed an issue where the progress bar for the Perform Icon always showed whilst it was counting down (even when the animation menu was showing)
- If you don't have a Microphone connected and you try chat it now shows a message saying no microphone detected
- Fixed a bug where if music was disabled and you tested the microphone in the Player Setup screen it would resume the Music after you stopped testing the microphone.
- Added extra Variations for the Avatars
Once you have the new version it should say ver 1.0.3 in the bottom right corner of the Main Menu of the game. Please restart Steam to force the update if it doesn't auto update.
Changes to the Player Setup screen:
- fixed an issue preventing the changes to the Pitch from being saved
- when testing the Microphone it now displays which Microphone is in use
- If you connect or disconnect a microphone it will display a message
- New player content variations
Once you have the new version it should say ver 1.0.5 in the bottom right corner of the Main Menu of the game. Please restart Steam to force the update if it doesn't auto update.
