As I understand it, you have to constantly jack your units with the cohesion test until the invisible chance dice drop 2 dice for a value of 1 and 2 dice for a value of 6. Is this true?
You can't really force those achievements. They will happen sooner or later if you play enough games.
Well, if you can't say for sure, at least tell me, can it be obtained when a unit is already broken? Or when a unit is pushed back? Or when they've had their morale lowered?
How long is a piece of string? As these two achievements are essentially random, they will happen when they happen.
Lucky could be obtained if a broken unit successfully rallies, if it could only do so on a roll of double 6.
Whenever they take a cohesion test that they
a) Have only a 1 in 36 chance of passing (Lucky acquired if they do)
b) Have only a 1 in 36 chance of failing (Unlucky acquired if they do)
Whenver they take a cohesion test that they are
a) Very unlikely to pass (Lucky)
b) Very unlikely to fail (Unlucky) [/quote]
Is it normal to have achievements in your game that you don't even have a clear strategy for getting?
Why not?
Any situation where a cohesion test is taken when the other cohesion test modifiers make it possible to achieve the requirements of the achievements.
There is no way to force it to happen.
In theory yes, provided that the unit is close enough to the enemy to trigger a cohesion test.
However, it could only happen if there were enough other cohesion test modifiers to make it possible for the requirements of the Lucky or Unlucky achievements to apply.
And if it was possible to gain either achievement by saving, falling back and reloading repeatedly until you got the achievement, where would be the actual achievement in doing that?
It really isn't the duty of the developer to point out exploits to be used to force achievements.
Would my Antiochus III custom campaign trigger this achievement? The long version of the campaign has 15 battles.
