Only way to share your copy of the game is to call a family night. Pull up a few chairs, take turns moving the units.
Bobby goes first because he's the youngest.
Bobby just settled the family city on a bad tile. Bobby gets penalized for that. He misses his next turn.
Your turn, Lori.
Lori just lost the worker to a Wolf Beetle.
Okay, forget family night.
I mean via Family Sharing.
You know of it. Right?

"Can all Steam games be shared with friends and family?
No, due to technical limitations, some Steam games may be unavailable for sharing. For example, titles that require an additional third-party key, account, or subscription in order to play cannot be shared between accounts."
Maybe that.
Simpler bit: you're not playing any other Steam games at all while you're trying to share, right? It's still a "lend your entire library at once to the other person" rather than share individual games, so it's still at most one player per library.
I don't have a regular copy and I'd like to know if Beyond Earth simply cannot be Shared (like DayZ), or if my early access mucked it up. I've been sharing with friends for a while and I know how it works, but they should really clarify on thestore page if sharing is enabled. Wup. Can't you check for me? Share with a secondary accound on your PC.
Finally a useful reply. Had no idea about Enhanced Steam, I should check it out.
I guess it's because my copy is not a regular one. It can still do everything a normal can, even multiplayer. Shame it cannot be shared, my friends gonna buy it themselves
No. It's 50€ and they just wanna try it out while I do other, mature, stuff.
Maybe you need to hit Authorize Computer from their own computer but logged in your own Steam account ?
Unfortunately not since my copy is slightly different from yours. Anyways thanks for the answers!
