"Pick a bonus" won't disappear

I downloaded some mods(18) and everything went fine.
But now that I've loaded the game up again I can't get "Pick a bonus" to disappear on the left of my screen, so I cannot acces the buildings or promotions anymore

Anyone know how to fix this?

If you loaded a game after closing it down, go under the mod section on the startup menu, apply the same mods and load the game from there..it may fix it, it may not. Not sure what you have tried yet, so just throwing in some random suggestions.

did not work unfortunatly, the the big problem for me that I can't reward units when they gained a veterancy and I can't advance to the next turn

Hmm yeah, that is problematic. Now the tough part would be finding out which particular mod or combination of mods created the problem haha..best of wishes finding it out, and sorry to hear that it halted your game.

It's a long time ago, but I think what I did was turn off the mods and then 1 by 1 turn them on to see which one of them caused the problem.

Don't remember which mod caused the problem, sorry. Like I said, it's been almost half a year

I know this is an old thread, but it would seem that the problem still persist.
It could seem that it is the Awesome Sponsors mod (Sorry Ryika, not my point to slander your fantastic mods, just giving the info I have).

Or at least, I had the same problem where "pick a bonus" wouldn't go away, and even reload the game when some items were picked. And deactivating the "Awesome sponsors" mod made the trouble go away this time around.
And truth to be told, I have a bunch of other mods installed, so there may be a conflict with another mod, I just don't know which.
