I found nothing wrong with the gameplay or the plot arcs. It's too bad replayability is out the window though.
Greanted, I might revisit the title after beating it. But not anytime soon. I'd rather play X-COM: EU.
I have no idea what spoiler tags are, care to explain? When I create a post, all I see is a box for title, and a box for the post.
These are spoiler tags:

anything written between them will be covered unless you put your mouse over it.
Example:
Write something like this:
"
Hidden Example Text
"
and you will get:
Hidden Example Text
It was a pretty poor execution. I liked the gameplay, but the story is just downright horrendious. The part about Carter decides that all Alien are evil and must be wiped out including sleepwalker, even after I picked the option that lets Etheral agree that humanity may be spared to destroy Origin (good riddence EA), stopped me from caring about this game's plot. The worst part is that, on final mission, Carter decides to kill Etheral right before the faceoff and possibly doom the entire human kind. Seriously, I didn't realize that I was playing to be a schoolyard bully.
Option did not matter in that game, beside like 2 gimmicks towards the end. Even then it doesn't really alter the ending much. TBH, I'd enjoy the game much better if they strip out the storyline.
And also, lol at the origin comment.
