Report a translation problem
The only thing I can think of was that I used NVIDIA GeForce Experience to set custom graphic settings, and probably one of those settings was what caused it. Maybe a PhysX toggle.
So anyway, try verifying files (which will overwrite your settings unfortunately), or just mess around with the graphics settings, like not running DX11 version or disabling PhysX.
I never used to get this but last night I thought I'd play after a long absence and it looks like I will not get past the elevator crash.
There are no words that can discribe the bitterness and hatred I have in my heart for this game right now!
