Light Plasma Pistol?

I just bought the game and all the available DLC -- where in the game do I pick up the Light Plasma Pistol?

in the change equipment dialogue, mine didnt show up for a bit so just keep looking. It is much better than the laser SMG so worth getting the DLC just to make everything easy. Sadly your recruits cant equip it but it does mean you can go FPS on the baddies on what would be hard challenges if need be

i bought it during the tower because O M G it was hell in there

It just showed up at some point for me (The Tower, I think).. it's quite a decent weapon

you get it after "the doctor"
and its so op T_T i took down titan without dying a single time/ being downed. only one of my agents went down due to stupid AI, i took him down in about 1 minute with the gunner pack

pretty much. but the heavy plasma/plasma assault cannon is better

yeah but its like "this is no fun" OP. you can take that and a blaster launcher/plasma sniper and be set for the game untill you get plasma assault or heavy pistol. (by the way dont use the rotary cannon.)

Is the DLC light plasma pistol different to the light plasma pistol you get after rescuing Scientist from university, 1st mission taken from ops screen?
