Operation: Hawkeye Final Battle Bug/Glitch

Hey guys, I was hoping you could help me out. In Operation: Hawkeye minor operation/side mission, where you chase after an escaped alien named Mu'ut Jeen,

I get all the way to the final battle with a gunship and the battle never starts. I noticed on Youtube that the battle is just supposed to start when you walk into the final location.

However, that never happens to me. I just run around the battlefield with no aliens that show up and then I climb to the top of the battlefield (where clearly your supposed to get extracted) and still nothing happens.

I'm sure this is a classic 'The Bureau' bug, where...I have to go all the way back to the location of the first battle, kill the first alien myself, grab the bullets out of the shack, then spin around 5 times...and ho! it magically works. I just haven't discovered what works yet....
