Other than that glad to see updates are happening.
Hope to see some things that make finding the new material/features easier as well as understanding what they do. E.g. just yesterday i accidentally stumbled upon the fact that there is a Snow tower but no idea how to easily create it. And still don't know what coal or diamonds do and don't see anything in the tavern helping me figure out what it is aside from the forge .
Click Configure > GFX/Sound - Select "Custom" under Resolution - Input your values - Press Save. Launch and it should work. If it doesn't work, you probably didn't hit save.
As for the new Redux towers, open your radial menu with Middle Mouse button. Hover over the tower you want to assign to a hotkey.
While the new tower icon is highlighted, hold down any number of your choice. After a couple seconds, it should re-assign the tower to whatever number you held down.
For example, I re-assigned my Countess' bouncer blockade keybind with the new Mortar Tower by doing this.
You can do this same thing with the new hero abilities. I replaced my DPS Monk's Enrage Aura bind (0) to the new Fire Aura hero ability by using this same method.
As for coal/diamonds, they've been in the base game for a long time. You have to get 88 small coal (do a winter map on normal-insane) for a small diamond. Doing the winter maps on Nightmare or ascension will give a regular Coal which you can turn into the Diamond for 88 coal. There's a coal forge in the tavern, right above the tavernkeeper.
Diamonds are a waste of time now though. There's much better pets you can get for much less work.
Small coal/coal is a great source of mana with Redux, thankfully. They have a high mana value so you can just sell them directly to Tavernkeep unless you REALLY want a diamond pet for some reason.
I'd done the custom screen res the first time around jumping back into Redux but 2nd time around (they reset video settings for some reason) i missed it and did it from within the game and couldn't!
Huh, cool! I guess I must have missed the coal / diamond thing the first time around :)
Auto-loot, yesssssss.
