I was banned today.

I don't know why I was banned. And I want to know. I was able to play with a friend earlier today and I stopped playing and got back after a few hours and I found out that I was banned.

either you were using a 3rd party program like a trainer or cheat engine(doesnt have to be for this game if you were using it for another game and forgot to close it before you played dd you will still get banned) or you bought modded weapons. If someone sold you a weapon that just sounded too good to be true. Odds are they modded it which regardless if you modded it or not the games anti cheat monitors your inventory and if you have a items of which has stats that wouldnt legitimately spawn in game you will get banned. I know it sucks but the only difference between ranked and open(which is the only thing you can play when youre banned) is you cant get acheivements and everyone has op characters thanks to steam workshop maps. Im sorry but ive never heard of someone getting banned for no reason(theres a lot of hackers who claim to be innocent, but leets face it the global ban list is like prison, every on who is in it is either innocent or doesnt care and mans up about being guilty) if you were banned you did something. It was more then likely something that i mentioned above as well. Btw if you are connected to the internet vac is enabled even in local play. So even if you just modded your local game file it will still get you banned. Not trying to be a ♥♥♥♥. But man up and accept that you got banned for cheating in a non competitive game. cheating in games like this is useless. Yeah you can now easily beat nightmare maps but you didnt earn it so it means nothing.

there isnt a monitoring program. All bans are through reports and the manual effort of employees checking accounts, as for Trainers and Cheat Engine simply having them open wont cause a ban, since they need to inject into the game directly. cheat engine has to choose DD as its point of injection before it can be detected since its not ecactly a Gaming cheat program its actually more of a general Hex editor that can be used on any program game or not. as for trainers, they have to be programed to the current .EXE before they can even work.

you dont get banned for buying a hacked weapon. They will remove it from your inventory and replace it with a folder giving you a warning. These sad stories of how you are getting banned for buying a single hacked weapon is getting old. The only way they ban you permantly is if you buy a weapon that is without a doubt hacked. Ie 99999999999 for all stats. Other then that you only get banned for having 3rd party programs that modify certain code. So if you say you got banned for buying a single weapon that you didnt know was hacked youre full of ♥♥♥♥ and i dont feel bad for you.

How do you know if you are banned? I logged in today to play some games and I can't join any game. It says "fail attempt blablabla". Relogged steam, waited an hour, changed heroes and I still can't join any games. Can't even find games now. It stays on "searching" and nothing appears.

Could it be that I am banned and that's why I can't join any games? Btw I started playing a few days ago and I have no clue abt hacked weaps/cheats or anything like that.

PS. I bought 2x supreme masks with 100+ on a lot of stats could those 2 be hacked?

possibly. Also if you were banned play game would be greyed out. So you should be good. Try resetting your router.

possibly. Also if you were banned play game would be greyed out. So you should be good. Try resetting your router.

Well I can play private games but can't join anything. The "Play online" button is not grey so I have no clue what's going on.

then its just trendy servers possibly being under maintenance or your end simply needs to have their router adn /or modem restarted. this is a common issue among P2P games

If you can join online then youre not banned. If you were banned you woldnt even be able to play online just local. If you can still click play online and have the option to join trendy/open youre fine. Not saying you wont get banned if those masks were in fact hacked, because the way youre making them sound it seems like they might be. Im not saying get rid of them but the risk is up to you. I will be 100% honest there are a lot of trolls on DD who have the game on multiple accounts and the shards dlc because they have the money to blow to do it and their sole purpose is to mod gear sell them and get other people banned. So be warned.

i haven't been banned, but from what i have seen from complaints.. there should be a short text telling you why you're banned atleast.

I'm banned too for buying Modded Gear without knowing they won't unban you they got a lack of Employees just deal with it there are alot of innocent people

if there is a lack of employees, the ban chance is very very low

lmao lack of emplyees? you do know trendy doesnt perma ban you right? Vac does. So if you got banned from just ranked then yeah trendy banned you but you had to have either had multiple infractions or were modding gear/hacking exp/mana yourself. If you got vac banned it was from using cheat engine/trainers. Either way you didnt get banned for buying a somewhat legit looking piece of gear off of the shop, once. So youre right you should deal with the fact you got banned and man up about the fact that you cant play legit in ranked when you can do what ever you want in open. Open is so hackers dont have to hack but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ still have to do it in ranked becuase they suck too much at games to play legit.
