Dealing with Wyverns as Squire
Now, I'm not a newbie at this game by any stretch of the imagination. In terms of playing the game, I have a good foundation and good skills; the problem that I'm having is that as a Squire, you don't really have the ability to deal with Wyverns too effectively.

You either have to stand guard by the Eternia Crystals and defeat them yourself or have traps do the work for you (Bouncer etc.), but both of those strategies aren't too effective on the higher difficulties.

What other strategies can one use as a Squire to deal with Wyverns, especially when you start getting into the Red Wyverns?

Thanks,
Razorflame

Make choke points where the Wyvern spawn and add a Harpoon Turret covering the lane and the flight path of Wyverns.

Nowadays I seldom use physical towers.

If I use one of them it is usually the harpoon. It is a very good weapon against wyvern, because it splices through several of them (if correctly set). Naturally it helps if you add an ensnare aura or better an aura stack.

@Avous What about on a wide open stage like the Endless Spires or The Summit?

Choke Points like he said. The entire original campaign can be completed with squire only on NMHC. I havnt attempted the DLC in awhile, but you should be able to.

How do you even do Chokepoints if you can't really make them go anywhere?

Its how you use your DU and position the harpoons. You can position harps behind the crystal and/or to the side, which would allow you to cover the crystal from both air and ground. If you would like help on seeing some of the original maps. You can add me, and we can go through the maps.

Thanks for the help. I'll see what I can do with this information. If I absolutely need help, I will ask you for help :)
