Controller doesn't work
I really hope someone can help me with this...

I bought an controller from gamestop not long ago. It's this one: http://www.gamestop.ie/productImages/233975/3max.jpg

Somehow, I can't get it to work in-game and it should right? It's basically the same as an xbox-controller for PC. Any know what I'm supposed to do? I've checked about everything, even put it in different USB's.

Thanks for any help.

Well if you're just looking to do split screen for more loot XP or Mana,

But if you want to play split screen with a friend or just play with a controller,

Im pretty sure he is asking for a reason why it isnt work, not an alternative. I would recommend sending it back, as 3rd party controllers arnt always trust worthy.

You should test to see if the controller is working within other games aswell. Even though its saying PC controller, your biggest mistake is buying a Gamestop product.

I would also visit this link, and download the controller drivers. Your computer might not be auto-installing the drivers. (Note: Look into the manual, their might be specific drivers for the controller, but all PC controllers should be running on this driver.)

last i checked TE only designed DD to recognize gamepads that used the Xinput standard and not the direct input standard

Try restarting the game.

Or try DS3 utility its the same program to make a ps3 controller work on computer.

I know this is fairly old but you can use x360ce to trick games into thinking your controller is a real x360 controller. I use x360ce for both of my Logitech RumblePad 2 controllers. I had to set HookMode=0 and HookCOM=1 in the x360ce ini file under [InputSettings] or DD would act strangely because it would "see" each controller twice.
