I don't understand what's wrong with this. This is a captured gameplay video from over 10 years ago, so why are you complaining about copyright?

I'm curious to know if the game company secretly included copyrighted background music in the game, or if it was simply a miscalculation on YouTube's part. (There's no audio other than the background music in the game.)

This happened to me with one of my video. You should be able to claim fair use and move on.
those are content trolls
Do what the above states
I think Purple planet provides some of the samples used in the Moonbase theme song (or, Purple planet uses the same samples as the Moonbase theme song). The guy who made Moonbase probably used music samples from Purple planet or they both used the same samples.

Anyways, if you can dispute the copyright claim then its good, because its completely stupid when anyone content ID / copyright claim songs based on (royalty free?) samples used in other songs by other artists.
