But the bigger question i got is, why whould someone want to get carried through all the way? Where is the sense of all that? Isn't the true fun of a game lying in accomplishing these things by yourself (maybe with help ofc) instead of getting everything served by others?
Dont get me wrong, im not trying to be rude here or something.. just want to understand.
I do believe he should play through the 'core game' maps atleast once - but doing it with someone could be less tedious, more fun (that's one way of looking at it)
Then there's 'boosting' so a quick jump to 70+ , much more simple than having someone higher level play through the whole game - but would allow him to solo most things on medium
^ I think either is fine really
(I played a lot - not on PC - so you can ignore my playtime XD)
Yes sure, i also think one can get the most fun out of the game by playing alongside some buddys. Getting boosted 70+ is a fair point but at the same time doing so, you miss out on a big portion of that satisfying feeling due to progressing by your own actions. The biggest part of that, you will experience early to mid game. After that the occurance of that feeling will slow down and you are more likely to give up on it.
But just getting carried, from start to say lvl 90-100 while getting a big chunk of the achievements done makes the whole thing pointless in my eyes.
I think the best he could do is to find someone to play with, that is willing to start over/or a freshie and progress together with him. Not someone to just get boosted. There are enough ways to speed up the early leveling (if you wish for) to around lvl 70-80 where then the initial gear up (which is fun) takes place.
I would like to start out fresh (since i have been way too long off) and offer that to him, but unfortunately im not able to do so, due to being limited by my current potato - would even do it without the foot pics :D
Dang why you got to be such a tease
if you're wondering why
it's because I think it's fun to help and be helped.
and I like to watch other people play and analyze their strategies
i don't want to spend time on grinding levels and equipment
and i want the achievements like OP :D
