Messing around in single player VAC?
So, I used to play this game on the 360, now that I'm more PC player, I'm curious, can I use cheat engine, and mess around on single player, or would that get me a VAC ban??

This has nothing to do with singleplayer or multiplayer.

This is a VAC-enabled game.

Unless you play offline, it is safe to say that you risk getting banned if you use cheats. :dealwithit:

VAC does not work on DD, so that will not be an issue. If you plan on messing around with Cheat Engine, however, I advise doing so in Local. Using it in Ranked and joining multiplayer games will get you reported and possibly banned rather quickly.

Darn :/ oh well haha guess I'll play it legitimately. It was fun messing around with my 360 save file though.
So if i played the game offline, I won't get VACed?

You are wrong.

VAC is enabled, it just doesn't work because of the way CE's latest versions work and the way DD stores things in memory.

Well it's probably because DD stores everything in a single file.
There is no way to check what changes to that file were legit or not.
