Google is your friend on this one.

No he's not, you can't find everything on google, only someone from TrendyNet team can help with this one.

There are multiple guides in the Steam discussions (there are even Steam guides on the topic), on Reddit, Youtube and Discord that tell you how to wipe your entire account, including tavern trophies and steam achievements and, with the exception of Discord, they're all indexed by the Google search engine. Now, if you don't know how to use Google, don't know how to find the Steam guides page, don't use Discord and can't use the search function in YouTube, then you can always send Chromatic Games an email, I suppose.

Trendy doesn't exist, it's Chromatic Games, also something you could learn using the Google search engine. And, as previously stated, they're not required to get the results you want.

Create a new Steam account and familyshare the game with it. This way you can play fresh on as many accounts as you like without losing your progress ever.

If you don't use DuckDuckGo or another good search engine, half of your page will consist of new playthroughs of the game and even then you'll see the most popular ones from 2013 when the game was popular. These will tell you that there is no way to do this, and that you need to get rid of all your mana and items instead.

I literally see no problem with asking people who actively play the game for advice in a discussion forum meant for asking questions, especially since recent changes have been made to family sharing.

I had no issues using Google to find this out.

Google doesn't help when all the posts are from over a year ago (From someone asking btw) and it's been updated since so asking a forum of people who play the game to see if the devs have added a way to reset your progress seems like the quickest and easiest way of doing it.
short answer seems to be: no, no official way to reset your save.

Stop playing smart with people and get the hell out of here. Your kind are not welcome here.

Family share to a new steam account works. However, to my knowledge you can't reset your main account online progress.

Just drop a link or GTFOH with your nonsense.

I think the only downsite to this is access to your friendlist, which is solveable but annoying.

Eesh, at risk coming under fire myself. This seems to have worked for me.

Turn off cloud saving for the game
Go to: ...\Steam\steamapps\common\Dungeon Defenders\Binaries\Win32
Delete:
DunDefHeroes.dun
DunDefHeroes.dun.bak

You also need to delete the files in ...\Steam\userdata\steamID\65800\remote
Your SteamID is personal so I don't know that, and I assume the game ID is the same for everyone.

Launch the game, it should be fresh.
Once you close it you can turn cloud save back on just make sure keep the LOCAL files instead of restoring the cloud files.

This will not reset Steam achievements.
This one works only for local, not the ranked online mode.

this is what I did to fully reset my account..

Downloading an old patch
To erase ranked data we will need a way to corrupt our save on ranked. The way I do this is to download an old patch from steams depot.

First we need to open the steam console.

Windows + R then type

steam://open/console

After you open steams console we need to download an old patch to overwrite the new one.

There are many patches you can use from steams depot, but for ease of use this is patch 7.44
Copy and paste this into the console and hit enter.

download_depot 65800 65801 6532943390642499525

When its done downloading, it will tell you where the files have been downloaded to.

It might take a while even with fast internet..

It also did not show under downloads for me while it was downloading.
Overwriting Files
Open the spot it shows after its done with the download, for me its in

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\content\app_65800\depot_65801

Copy all the files from this folder

Should be
Binaries
Engine
UDKGame

Now go to steam and browse local files for Dungeon Defenders.

Replace all the files in this folder with the ones we copied.

Corrupting save to wipe data.
All we need to do now is start the game and go online to ranked to wipe our save.

Notice how at the bottom right it says 7.44

Thats what we want to see

Click online and go to ranked. It will be as if you started a brand new account. We don't want to play on an older patch though, well I don't at least, you could in theory play an older patch.

So to go back to the new patch with a clean account.

All you need to do is verify game contents.

Go to library right click dungeon defenders and go to properties

Now click on verify integrity of game files.

You should now be on the newest patch with a clean ranked data save.

Hope this worked for you as it did me as I enjoy starting from scratch from time to
