Trendy doesn't exist, it's Chromatic Games, also something you could learn using the Google search engine. And, as previously stated, they're not required to get the results you want.
If you don't use DuckDuckGo or another good search engine, half of your page will consist of new playthroughs of the game and even then you'll see the most popular ones from 2013 when the game was popular. These will tell you that there is no way to do this, and that you need to get rid of all your mana and items instead.

I literally see no problem with asking people who actively play the game for advice in a discussion forum meant for asking questions, especially since recent changes have been made to family sharing.
short answer seems to be: no, no official way to reset your save.
Short answer: Familyshare to a new Steam Account => Done - or did i miss something?
Just drop a link or GTFOH with your nonsense.
I think the only downsite to this is access to your friendlist, which is solveable but annoying.
Downloading an old patch
To erase ranked data we will need a way to corrupt our save on ranked. The way I do this is to download an old patch from steams depot.
First we need to open the steam console.
Windows + R then type
steam://open/console
After you open steams console we need to download an old patch to overwrite the new one.
There are many patches you can use from steams depot, but for ease of use this is patch 7.44
Copy and paste this into the console and hit enter.
download_depot 65800 65801 6532943390642499525
When its done downloading, it will tell you where the files have been downloaded to.
It might take a while even with fast internet..
It also did not show under downloads for me while it was downloading.
Overwriting Files
Open the spot it shows after its done with the download, for me its in
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\content\app_65800\depot_65801
Copy all the files from this folder
Should be
Binaries
Engine
UDKGame
Now go to steam and browse local files for Dungeon Defenders.
Replace all the files in this folder with the ones we copied.
Corrupting save to wipe data.
All we need to do now is start the game and go online to ranked to wipe our save.
Notice how at the bottom right it says 7.44
Thats what we want to see
Click online and go to ranked. It will be as if you started a brand new account. We don't want to play on an older patch though, well I don't at least, you could in theory play an older patch.
So to go back to the new patch with a clean account.
All you need to do is verify game contents.
Go to library right click dungeon defenders and go to properties
Now click on verify integrity of game files.
You should now be on the newest patch with a clean ranked data save.
Hope this worked for you as it did me as I enjoy starting from scratch from time to
