Where Should I farm armor?
I been grinding DD for a bit and reached a point where I'm able to farm Moonbase for armor, but is that the stopping point for "best armor" or is there a place where the gear stats are even better? I want to make sure I'm not wasting my time on Moonbase or if I'm doing the right thing.

The top 3 quality tiers for armor farming are:

1.) Infested Quality Maps (infested ruins, Spook, lovers, striking tree, magus citadel, omenak, and winter mire being the main ones)

2.) Crystal Cave quality (crystal cave)

3.) Coastal quality maps (Coastal Bazaar, Emerald City, Tropics)

Thank you for the tips, I did give WinterMire a try and found better gear there. It seems Moonbase is just old meta. I also tried Infested Ruins and that seem better than wintermire b/c the setup was easier to manage.

Yeah. All of those maps (infested ruins, Spook, lovers, striking tree, magus citadel, omenak, and winter mire) have armor that drops at the same quality, but some are obviously easier setups or have better mob distribution.

Spook, Lovers, Omenak, ST, and Infested are the 5 main maps to farm.

Everything is so out dated there's no clear or obvious progression path if you haven't played in a while. They need to reorganize the menus for level selection to give a better understanding of what the expected progression path for gear is supposed to be.

If they did that, getting back into DD1 would be much easier. There's just too many menus and maps now. I don't understand what's what anymore.

I agree with this with so much, it's kinda hard knowing what to do without some type of guide. But the few lost quest maps that ppl suggested have gave me good gears.

There is an updated guide by Chiku that covers everything.
