personally after doing several runs between NM and Insane, i havent found much differance between the rewards quality, on insane HC i still get ultimate rewards
wow so you are better off doing insane hc? do the weapons still drop high in tower stats?
Most staves hit twelve times (six for regular damage, six for elemental), but only the first of those twelve can hit a kraken tentacle. The one shot that hits is always the base damage, because that hits first, NOT the elemental damage. As a result, elemental staves are useless against the kraken tentacles. Regular staves are better, but still bad. The only staff worth using against kraken tentacles is the ember sceptre, because it does all its damage in one hit.
The kraken can't be damaged by EV beam. The tentacles and body are both invulnerable to it.
Each tentacle has an average of 51M health, for a total of 410M health. This can go fairly quick with an ember sceptre, especially with hero boost, but can take a very long time with a rainmaker, and is essentially impossible with a bloodshot. What were you attacking it with?
Here is a video I made of Poly NMHC:

Boss rush starts 9 minutes in.
Thanks for the info.
(also, could ToW drop the Aquanos Core Drops, They are one of my favourite weapon sets, but they are quite bad from Aquanos)
Edit: I was attacking With a bloodshot at range, then a Fusion Rift when I was close by, so about 500k damage in bursts, friend had an Ember but was dealing about the same
also, how much HP do the bosses in Poly Boss Rush have in 2 player? the Goblin mech seems to not want to die without Ev Proton Blast+Cat+Hero Boost.
I know they can, I have(maybe had? depends if I sold it...) a leumarian Ult+. More regularly I mean.
Lab is pretty mindless and I can do something else (like watch Netflix or something), so I don't really mind doing it. It just feels kind of feels like a waste of time in retrospect. Moonbase is a better armor farm (best in game by a large margin) and it's much more AFKable.
Lab is only competitive if you do 6-player and have one character type hosting. It works like this:
- Host uses all huntresses.
- Everyone gets huntress weapons only.
- Because the item pool is now smaller, you get 2x as much armor.
- 2nd account can join with jester, and they still only get huntress weapons.
So that gives you 3x the armor compared to 4-player solo lab with jester, but even then Moonbase is still better.
