However, you DO realize Redux is a free mod for DD1, right?
They're not charging DD1 owners anything to opt into Redux, nor is there any kind of microtransactionary garbage in Redux, so I'm really not sure what your point is here.
If you aren't sure what all the additions are, check the big thread in the announcements subforum for a list of all the changes & additions.
There isn't a single thing I dislike about Redux, it made me return after 4 years of not playing.
(I know there's only been one patch/update so far, but I'm talking about for the future.)
I did like the Lavamancer & Mystic classes in DD2, but that's the only good thing I have to say about anything post-DD1.
They had a fantastic framework to expand on and somehow they completely blew it multiple times and are still managing to screw the series up.
Anyone here remember what a joke DD Eternity was?
At least we still have DD1, though. Redux was a real treat to see.
The pet-levelling stuff in DD:E was awesome!
