So where do I farm to get Mythical gear in Redux when I don't have them?

Coming back to this game since several years ago I remembered the game having issues with going from zero to hero basically. Quite a few gigantic walls ahead of you. In fact I've yet to be able to play most of the DLC maps due to this difficulty barrier. Not gonna play them on easy but even then some of them will still run me over.

So WHERE do start to farm them? Like some manageable map that isn't completely utterly insane.

Also where would one get hold of some GOOD unique weapons? I remember them getting nerfed left and right but maybe some have slipped past the nerf hammer.

Level 74 too. Being Mage and Eevie or something.

Lost Quests -> Dread Dungeon seems to be a good (read: insanely good) Exp. Mine
Lost Quests -> Arcane Library I believe gave me a Mythical set
Have not played any of the other Lost Quests yet. Not quite there.

You sure about that? Insane is do able right now, but Nightmare is not even possible. Far to many enemies, I don't have enough damage to deal with them and the map spawns sharks, spiders and djinns. Which Insane version didn't spawn. No mythical from insane map either.

Also this is the mod REDUX. Not the normal Dungeon Defender.

Just play the first wave of spires on nmhc. its doablle with crappy gear. after wave search chests for mythical gear. repeat :D

Yeah, I'm playing REDUX too.

But, I'm still at 60~ish not quite at 74 yet. Need to grind in the Dread Dungeon a few more times. From 50-60 I was getting at least 1 level up with each level.

if u want to get to 74: glitterhelm caverns on hard or insane give great xp as well

Okay, I'll be honest, I lied a bit about my gear. I already have mythical BUT the way I got them was a bit too cheap. Like to the point where it might not be the intended reward. I'm gonna hold off telling which map it is in fear of it getting nerfed to hell and back in drops. Kinda wanted to do it the real way. Apparently that is still an issue.



I'm just gonna say it was on Easy and the end rewards were Mythical gears that outshines drops on other maps by quite a bit. The map itself is not gonna pose a problem for anyone with Godly equips. Maybe they'll break through at some points due to Djinns being annoying.


But I tried one of the maps you mentioned and with 2 players on it where one is Apprentice and I'm Eevie.
Those maps still whooped our asses on wave 1. Spiders start spawning and didn't have enough mana to build up 1 tower and walls on each spot. This is with Mythical gear too and I didn't have the DPS to deal with enemies by myself. Yes my Mythical staff did not have the dps. Not sure if the cheese mythical gear I got where just a bit too weak on the dps but strong on the stats instead.

The second map looked like a nightmare with a ton of pathways and for me that's just not happening.

I'm currently on Monster Fest Shipwreck on Insane. It started to drop Mythical gear but all of the gear on the floor where worse than the ones I got before. The end rewards though got more interesting.
You can just bunker in and just buff up the towers a lot. I didn't have any issues at all.
EXP wasn't all that good but you get a ton of mana on it if your towers can handle the waves.

It also looks like I might need to level up a Summoner which is gonna be annoying.

Hmmm, There's no spiders in the 2 maps i mentioned. There are Harbingers in the Arcane Library and they can kick some serious butt. You get just a bit too close to them and you're in for a possibly shocking experience of a lifetime.

Ahh, I did not know that.

Yeah they are. I honestly think they're more annoying than the Harbinger and the Death walkers that see you across the map and then just come for you, lmao

Assuming endless spires still works, use that for early mythical gear. Overlap DST's, and thin out the trash where you can and build towers during the wave, and its a done deal.
