But I cant find a game when I do a normal match making. is everyone in ranked?

Yeah, everyone's most likely in ranked. Also, you won't be able to see all the games available unless you're on a level 90 hero, because lobbies (by default) have a minimum level requirement. So if you're on a level 100 hero and you start a lobby, unless you change the option, only level 90 or higher people will be able to see it.

Hang out in DDRnG if you want to find players :)
