Is there a way to stack towers without using macro?

Using a controller, its easiest.

Once you get the spot you want, do not touch the movement controls at all and only use the buttons to summon minions one on top of another.

Not usre if other towers can be manipulated this way.

i know how to stack minions u just dont move your mouse but cant seem to do the tower stacking
ive seen people do it and watched videos but cant seem to do it

IIRC, there was a CDT patch that sorta stopped this, but I wouldnt take that to the bank either. Ive been away for awhile and havent followed exclusively this game anymore.

To stack minions just summon them all at one place. You can even move your mouse if you return it back where you started (which is hard ofc so better not move at all).
To stack towers you have to press shortuc to summon the tower and space at the same time. That is difficult without macro ofc. The towers will be placed where last tower was regardess of where you stand or where you planned to build the tower if no tower of that type is summoned.

Yes it is possible. If you press space and the number you want at the same time. So for me, I have lightning towers bound to 1, if I want to stack them I would first build one tower and then press space and 1 at the same time. It seems to be somewhat dependent on your PC setup, I know some people can perform tower stacking somewhat consistently by just pressing the buttons at the same time,while I for example have a lot of trouble getting it to stack without a macro. I'd have to try about 20 times before I can get towers to stack without a macro.

Just like ThePoet said... to stack towers you press Spacebar + Hotkey at EXACTLY the same time. Practice in the tavern. If you fail then you'll need to sell the towers and start over. With practice you could probably do it 50% of the time, which isn't reliable enough for most scenarios. You can also stack different types of towers on top of eachother by placing one, selling, then placing a different type at the same spot.

Stacking summoner minions can be done by not moving your mouse or the above method.

To add onto this, to stack different type of towers you do not have to actually build the tower. You can just select the tower, hover it's shadow (where the tower would build) the cancel it. That type of tower will be then build where it was last moved.

to stack a different type of tower on another you dont need to do anything different just space and its tower key works for me
