EV stun beam stun time
Does this affect anything for towers placed on the buff beam? It is in the place of the radius so was curious if this is used for that in place?

It does affect the radius boost of the buff beam. I scales like garbage though.

Ok, so its very low priority on gear then

Thanks again Caimen

Personally, I completely ignore that stat

I don't like to ignore it. If you need a lot of space covered by your auras, like MB surv or Embermount, having some numbers in both Aura Radius and Stun Time doesn't hurt, as it can really give you a boost, or just give you that extra distance so you don't have to waste 4 DU on another buff(DU efficiency builds) .
I've got 4k Aura Rad and 2k beam(not specced into) and I don't think I would be able to get rid of stun time... Unless the new set were Ults with DMG/Rate caps.

edit: just realised that all basically means I ignore it :/

My EV stats are 6503 6503 1651 3381. So my range stat is very low.

With 1651 range stat on EV, my elec aura is 24.19 effective range.
With 2651 range stat on EV, my elec aura is 24.33 effective range.
With 3651 range stat on EV, my elec aura is 24.43 effective range.

It makes a difference, but it's very small. Adding 1000 more points on my EV would increase range about one half of a percent. It doesn't feel like it's worth caring about points in it.

But of course other people have different preferences than me.

It's not possible for an ult to cap both dmg and rate.

I meant one or the other, preferably damage. HP would be nice but EV is probably the last character to need a new set.

Ohh, I see. I would personally never cap any armor in rate. It could make sense if you have a really bad damage:rate ratio, but personally I'd rather just find armor with decent sides and upgrade it into damage. Damage is the best stat on every builder and it makes armor more re-usable if you upgrade it that way.

You do need rate on every builder if you want to optimize damage. On auras I think 2.1:1 gives the best DPS at high stats, and in general I think 2:1 is pretty good on any builder. App towers are the exception where 6:5 seems to be best.

On EV I don't really worry about the specific number for rate. I just look for hp/dmg gear with rate as a side, and I don't care much if range is missing or negative. Range is truly a terrible stat in this game, and it's worst on EV.

You really get enough from sides.
I don't even bother with EV at all, I just have him in 4k range.
