What exactly is this achievement and why isn't it listed on the achievement page but is required for the True boss rush?

Found it, only discord people know because i assume this is not supposed to be public knowledge...

It isn't listed on the Steam achievements page because the 100%ers were upset about having to do difficult things to maintain their 100% in DD1. We thought it was a nice compromise to leave it as an in-game achievement with special rewards, but not to include it on Steam so they could keep their 100% without too much effort.

It's not a secret. Go look at your crystal core in-game, click "Accomplishments", and starting scrolling down. Three years later, you'll arrive at the Eternal Defender achievement, which says this:

After unlocking Ultimate Defender, you went on to clear every Lost Quests map on Nightmare! Wow!

If that's not clear enough, you can blame me, sorry :)

Well now that i have that, i am currently unable to engage the old one in CR3. the switch just sputters !??!??!??!??!. so is it bugged now?

From your description, it's working fine. Press the switch, then kill the dragon. The portal will appear afterwards.

Nah, we never changed it. The portal only opens if:

1. You met the prereqs and hit the switch, so it says "?!??!?!?"
2. You killed the boss after the "!?!?!?!?"
3. You entered the portal and died at the end of the map, while hosting.

After that, you can hit the switch on wave 13 (camp or surv, doesn't matter) and it'll just open the portal.

anyone know exactly how far you must make it in to tavern Incursion to get credit twords this?
as we tried several times, and died on Great old one twice. never cleared, but when i went back to my tavern, i got the eternal defender trophy
