Any point to investing in casting speed for barbarian?
Barbarian starts out with super low speed and it takes about 20 points before he can move at a decent speed, Jester has the best casting speed returns, so I'm wondering if I should even bother investing in casting speed (For repairs) when I have a sister (Jester) and brother (Summoner) handling the defenses, wouldn't I be better spent in constantly taking the fight to the enemies?
I plan to use my stances religiously, and if I can replace Heal with Siphon Stance, I will.

TL;DR Should I invest in Barbarian casting speed for any reason at all?

I don't see why you'd invest in casting speed on any character tbh (maybe for a mana farming upgrader char). Should get sufficient from gear.

The barbarian is only DPS, so put points into Hero Damage and Hawk Stance. Hero HP would be put to better use than Siphon. The Barbarian's stances aren't very good, with the exception of Hawk and Tornado stance, possible Siphon, if you pair it with Tornado. Hawk is allows HUGE instant damage(late game has up to 100mill+), so bosses/ogres aren't really a problem. Tornado stance makes you run/swing weapons really fast but lowers your damage. This is good for enemies with little HP, it pairs well with Siphon if the mobs only take 1-3hits to kill.
I'd reccomend using a DPS/Booster monk over the Barbarian because you are playing in a group, but its your choice.

With all the stances, I thought most of them would be good. Remembering the monk's auras, I wanna use him now for frenzy aura, but I stand by barbarian, my sister's jester will have full rein over the towers and you make dropping a hundred million damage sound so fun.
Thank you for the recommendations, but I still wanna try the other stances, too. I'll respec once I have my bearings, but I sure do want a monk now.

There are some good guides on Who is the best DPS for Nightmare/Solo. It usually comes down to the monk being best for solo. But in a group, the DPS team will usually have both Monk and a Barbarian for maximum damage output. Just search DPS in the community guides section for a more in-depth explaination.

Siphon stance is extremely good. You don't need self-heal. Just turn on siphon stance immediately before attacking, and turn it off right afterwards, so you don't get hit while you're using it.

And make sure you have siphon on a hotkey you can reach easily. I actually put mine on 5 since I almost never upgrade with Barbarian. (I have upgrade on 5 on all my other chars.)
