Mix mode worth it?

As the tittle says. My main character is the Apprentice, and whenever those crazy dark elves appears, I'm pretty much running like a girl. It doesn't bother much since I can wipe them out with a well placed Mana bomb but, in mix mode they are much more frequent, and a single mistake can cause them to corner me and kill me.

I didn't notice any big change in item drops quality from traditional survival to survival + mix mode.

Is it worth the extra difficulty and I'm just having bad luck? Or is the drop increase not worth the difficulty spike?

Mix mode adds another random factor to item drops, it is known to drop better drops at times but with personal experience I find just running it normal gives the best drops overall.

wouldn't bother about mm until you do nm-survivals
