How do you play multiplayer
The title says it all. This game is really fun and I would like to play in multiplayer with/against other people.

Use OFPMonitor https://github.com/Poweruser/OFPMonitor/releases/download/1.7.3.3/OFPMonitor_v1.7.3.3.zip to see dedicated servers.

Or use Hamachi. It's great if you only have few people to play with.

Does anyone actually play, I was bored and tried this and all the severs it showed were empty lol

hi, when i try to join a server with ofpmonitor and Arma, its say that i cant connect :/

Make sure the server is supporting ArmA 1.99, check if you need additional (downloadable) add-ons by right-clicking on the server in the List.
Also make sure to refresh the server-list regularily/manually.
Make sure to correctly tie your game installation path to ofp monitor.

Yeah. Download OFPMonitor, or check out this website[kondor.armagame.pl] to see what servers are running, and what mods they use.

Hamachi, yes, though I never used it.

What do you mean by "direct connection"? You wanna start new server in-game, and have people connect directly to your IP? This should work too, but I remember people having problems with that - may have been just their connection setup though.

Thanks for the help, yes i wanna star a new sever in-game, it works LAN as expected but need to try it online, so if anything works ill post here.

Oh yea! We play it with as many as 20 players on the weekends and daily also!
There are dedicated servers online 24/7 Can also create your own server.

Get OFPMonitor https://github.com/Poweruser/OFPMonitor/releases
Add this to the Settings > Master Server: Master.OFPisNOTDEAD.com

Everyone connects by Remote IP/Port from the real-time list of the servers.
Use OFPMonitor or copy/paste IP from http://kondor.armagame.pl/ofp_servers.html
To create your own server to show up for everyone, I can provide instructions.

Mainly need to use:
1. OFPServer.bat
ColdWarAssault_Server.exe -config=server.cfg -netlog ofpserverlog1 -nomap -port=2302
2. server.cfg
Download mine: FileDropper.com/OFPSERVER_1

When you join a server and start a mission, it downloads to your game folder:
..\Steam\steamapps\common\ARMA Cold War Assault\MPMissionsCache
Copy them into MPMissions to appear on your dedicated server.
