Strange "Out of Memory" Errors

Hi,
I loved Resistance back then and wanted to play it again.The first time i downloaded and started the Game all went good,but now when i start or load Resistance i always get this "out of memory errors" ??Anyone know how i can fix that? Theres no way i have to few memory when it was ok 10 years ok ;)

Its this weird problem that happens if you put your graphics settings too high. You have to lower them a bit.

Stupid game is only detecting 1G of RAM out of the 8GB that I have which is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and uninstalled, so glad this was free because it isn't worth the price.

Stupid game? The engine is from 2001 - it wasn't even made with today's PCs in mind.

Try to launch the game with "-nomap" as a parameter.
(without the quotation marks)

@Peashy I have some Problem,from my 8 cores only 1 is detected,same with ram as you.But the game is not Stupid,back then it was total awesome.Even the US Military bought the rights to use it,and they made their own version "virtual battlespace" which they use to train people.

I think my Savegame was bugged.I played around witht the Settings but nothing helped.
Then i just started the Resistance Campaign new,now it works.
If you understood me wrong,the Game always crashed when loading Resistance,not when starting it up.It first crashed when i tried to load the Savegame

i packed this game with addons and some i had to delete due to causing 3d errors or no memory
